History and Mission

Cajun Soccer Club was established in 1984 from parents who wanted more in soccer for their children. Ever since then, we have continued to grow in numbers. Our club has been consistent in its play with numerous state titles and players going on to play at the collegiate level and beyond. To this day, we continue our commitment of being known on a state and regional level for our team performances and the development of our players.

Cajun Soccer Club Vision Statement

Cajun Soccer Club will provide players with high quality training that will teach commitment and leadership responsibilities while learning the proper skill set to succeed on the field. We will strive to be known on a state and regional level for our team performances, but most importantly through the development of our players on and off the field.

U15-18 - August 1-3, 2014

Friday College Recruitment Seminar - TBA

The cost to participate includes a Club fee and a team fee with CSC for 1 year (Fall and Spring season) are as follows:

YEARLY CLUB FEES (These fees include Preseason Camp)

$715 club fee for FULL TIME Teams:
CSC Rage (girls) and CSC Fury (boys)

$300 - $400: This is an average cost per player per team. These fees cover tournament fees, Coaches expenses, Referee fees and team Misc. fees. This fee may fluctuate depending on how many league games and tournaments the team will attend and the number of players per team.

Uniform fees: Every other year a player will purchase a new uniform which includes 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, 2 pairs of socks, and 2 practice tops.

Fundraising: CSC will hold a Club wide fundraiser in early August called the "100 Mile Run" and will also have parents participate in sign sales to help offset club fees. Each team also participates in team fundraising to help with team expenses through out the year.

Try Outs:

CSC holds team try-outs in late spring and early summer:

U11-U13 from the beginning of May to mid May
U14-U18 from the beginning of June to mid June

ยท Through out the year we welcome interested players to come train with teams. After these sessions we will discuss possible options to join a competitive team. Please, contact Dave Lapeyrouse with questions at dlap78@gmail.com.

Most teams usually will attend 2 tournaments a season (4 tournaments a year). Two of the tournaments are hosted by the Cajun Soccer Club for a home event. Competitive teams participate in league play through the LCSL (Louisiana Competitive Soccer League), with the exception of our tournament only teams.
These games will set the rankings for the state tournament and future league placement. The number of teams in a specific age group will determine on how many games need to be played through out the year. The LCSL has in-state regional leagues for U11-U18 and State Wide leagues for U13- U18 teams.

We do expect our players to be committed to the club and team. We ask that all players anticipate:

1. 2 training sessions a week
2. Home or Away games on the weekends
3. Attendance to the selected tournaments in which the club and teams decide to attend
4. 1 year commitment (2 seasons of play)
5. Fall season (Aug - late Oct or early Nov)
6. Spring season (Feb - May to early June)
7. Regional Tournament and National Tournaments (ages U13-U19) if your team qualifies (June and July)
